Vice Roulette is a free, unofficial fan site that invents silly challenges to do inside a video game. The challenges are for the game and nothing else. Do not attempt any of them in real life. Use the site and you are agreeing to what is on this page.
1. What this site is
Vice Roulette spins a dial and hands you a randomly chosen challenge for Grand Theft Auto V or Grand Theft Auto VI, whichever you pick. That is the whole product. It is free, it needs no account, and it is made for entertainment. It is not advice of any kind, and nothing on it is a statement of fact about either game.
2. Not official, not affiliated
This is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. or any of their companies. Grand Theft Auto and GTA are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., used here only to say what game the challenges are for. No game assets, artwork, audio, logos or code belonging to those companies are used on this site. Nothing here should be read as a claim about what will or will not be in the game.
3. In the game, never in real life
Every challenge on this site is written to be carried out by a character inside a video game. Several of them describe things that are illegal, dangerous, or both, if done by an actual person in the actual world. That is the joke, and it stops at the screen.
- Do not attempt any challenge in real life, or encourage anyone else to.
- Do not treat anything here as a suggestion about how to behave outside the game.
- You are responsible for what you do. Following a challenge outside the game is your own decision and your own liability, and this site accepts none of it.
Inside the game, you are still bound by the game publisher's own terms of service, EULA and online rules. Nothing here overrides them, and a challenge that would break them is not a licence to break them. Play fair with other players.
4. Age
The site is not directed at children under 13, and you should not use it if you are younger than that. Both games the challenges are written for carry adult age ratings of their own in most countries; whether you are old enough to play them is between you, those ratings and whoever bought them. The challenges themselves are deliberately kept mild.
5. The challenges themselves
The challenge text, the categories, the artwork and the code of this site are ours. You are welcome to:
- Share individual challenges, links and share cards anywhere you like, including in videos, streams and posts, monetised or not. No permission needed and no credit demanded, though a link back is always welcome.
- Screenshot, record and remix what the site produces on your screen.
What you may not do is copy the collection itself: scraping, bulk downloading or republishing the challenge database, in whole or in substantial part, to run your own generator from it. Ask first and the answer may well be yes.
6. Fair use of the site
Do not attack the site, break into it, hammer it with automated requests, or use it to distribute anything harmful. Do not pass it off as your own or as official. That is the entire list.
7. Suggestions you send in
If you email a challenge idea, you are giving permission for it to be used, edited and published on this site for free and for as long as the site exists. There is no payment, no credit line and no obligation to use it. Do not send anything you do not own or are not free to give away.
8. The site is provided as it is
Vice Roulette is offered free, with no warranty of any kind. It may be wrong, it may be unavailable, it may change completely, and it may stop existing without notice. Challenges are written against a game that is not out yet, so some will not match the finished thing. Links you share are meant to keep working, but nothing here is promised to be permanent.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, this site and whoever runs it are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it, from being unable to use it, or from acting on anything it says, including anything you choose to do in a game or outside one. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Links to other places
Where the site links somewhere else, that place is not ours, we do not vet it, and we are not responsible for what it does or says.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
12. Disputes and your local law
This is a small free fan site with no company behind it, so no governing law or exclusive court is named here. Whatever mandatory consumer rights and legal protections apply where you live, apply, and nothing on this page takes them away or asks you to give them up. If something is wrong, email first: almost anything is easier to fix than to argue about.
13. Rights holders
If you own rights in something used here and believe it should not be, email hello@viceroulette.com with the detail and it will be taken down or corrected promptly. No lawyers needed.
14. Contact
