About Vice Roulette
Last updated 24 September 2026
Vice Roulette is the I-am-bored-in-GTA button. Pick your game, spin the dial, get a silly challenge, do it in the game, share the card. It is free, it is made by a fan, and it keeps nothing about you unless you email it: the privacy page says what Cloudflare and Google see when you visit.
What it is
Two wheels, one for each game, switched with the buttons above the logo:
- GTA 5 — 200 challenges you can attempt tonight, in Los Santos and Blaine County.
- GTA 6 — 200 challenges written ahead of launch, in Vice City and the rest of Leonida.
Both cover the same eight categories: Cops, Chaos, Hustle, Roleplay, Wheels, Wildlife, Viral and Florida Man — which the GTA 5 wheel calls California Man, because San Andreas is not Florida. Each dare is rated from Tourist to Menace, with a "wasted if" line telling you how the run ends badly. The dial picks one at random. If you do not like it, spin again; there is no limit and no timer. The site remembers which game you last chose.
The Daily Vice is one challenge chosen from the date itself, so everyone in the world gets the same one on the same day, and you can compare notes with people who are not in your lobby. Each game has its own daily, and its own streak.
How the challenges are written
Every entry is written by hand against a few rules, which is the whole reason the site exists rather than a prompt box:
- In the game, never in real life. Nothing on the list is a stunt anyone could imitate outside a screen, and nothing celebrates real harm.
- Kept mild. No cruelty, nothing hateful, nothing sexual, no targeting real people or places. Silly beats edgy every time.
- Playable, not tedious. If it takes an hour of grinding, it is not a dare, it is a chore.
- Honest about the unknown. GTA 6 is not out yet. Its challenges are written against what has actually been shown, using generic descriptions where the specifics are not public, and every one of them gets tested and rewritten once the real game is in our hands. The GTA 5 side has no such excuse: those are playable today.
How it is built
One page, no framework, no build step, no backend. Every font, image and script the site needs is served from this domain, other than two things named rather than hidden: Cloudflare's cookieless visit counter, which sees totals and cannot connect them to you, and Google's advertising, which is what we intend to pay for the site with. Both are described plainly on the privacy page.
Send in a challenge
Ideas are genuinely welcome, and the good ones go straight in. Email hello@viceroulette.com with the dare, the category you think it belongs to, and how hard it should be. There is no form and no account.
By sending one you are letting us use and edit it on the site for free. There is no payment and no promise it gets used. Please do not send anything that is not yours to give. The terms spell this out.

Who makes it
A fan project, run in spare time by a small company, Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd of Cape Town, South Africa, counting down to 19 November 2026 like everyone else. Nobody's name is on it, on purpose: it is a hobby, not a brand.
The disclaimer, in full
Vice Roulette is an unofficial fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. or any of their companies.
Grand Theft Auto, GTA and related names are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. They are used on this site only to identify the game the challenges are written for, which is fair descriptive use, and no claim to those marks is made.
The artwork is original illustration made for this site, and no file from the games or their makers is copied into it. Names and marks from the games that appear in it belong to Take-Two Interactive, and other names and marks in it belong to their owners; all are shown only as scenery. The wordmark, challenge text and code on this site are original.
The dares are not statements about what the games contain. Where the site reports news about GTA 6, it names the source and the day it was checked, and nothing on it comes from anyone inside Rockstar or Take-Two. If you own rights in something used here, email hello@viceroulette.com and it will be dealt with promptly.
