What’s new
What’s new
Every change to Vice Roulette that a visitor could see, newest first, dated to the day it went live. Fixes nobody could notice, and changes made and then taken back, are left out. If something here does not match the site, the contact page says how to tell us.
- The GTA 6 posts say what Rockstar’s own site does name: hunting, fishing and dirt bikes, a description of each region, and what each edition contains.
- The GTA 6 side activities post no longer calls its 24 activities confirmed by Rockstar. Rockstar’s own GTA VI site gives no list of activities, so the post says where they come from and marks them as expected.
- The Leonida map post takes its six region names from Rockstar’s own GTA VI site and says which descriptions come from press coverage instead. Its dares no longer depend on activities Rockstar has not named.
- The launch-day checklist no longer says its 25 items come from a list Rockstar confirmed. They come from coverage of the gameplay reveal, and Rockstar’s own site gives no list of them.
- “Is GTA 6 out yet?” is checked against Rockstar’s own page again, and no longer calls the reported side activities confirmed.
- The five-star wanted level post no longer says police chases are a Rockstar-confirmed GTA 6 activity.
- The GTA 5 stunt post no longer calls GTA 6’s racing, dirt biking and e-scooters confirmed by Rockstar.
- The release date post no longer calls the reported side activities confirmed, or tennis confirmed as not playable.
- The release date post says when it was last checked against Rockstar, instead of promising regular refreshes.
- The delay history post says when it was last checked against Rockstar’s page.
- The posts on what to play until GTA 6 and on what to do in GTA 5 when bored call GTA 6’s side activities reported, not confirmed.
- The 50 GTA 5 challenge ideas post describes the Leonida post as what Rockstar’s own site says.
- The GTA 6 price and platforms post gives the prices Rockstar announced in its pre-order press release: $79.99, or $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. It says which details come from that release and which from Rockstar’s own GTA VI page, and the release date post gives the same prices.
- The post on whether GTA 6 has online at launch quotes Rockstar’s pre-order press release, which says GTA VI “features a single-player experience”, instead of an FAQ answer that could not be traced to Rockstar. The release date post and the launch-day checklist quote the same release.
- Daily Vice at /daily shows today’s date and today’s dare on every visit, worked out in your browser, instead of a date that had stopped moving.
- The GTA 6 challenge generator page is about GTA 6: what Rockstar has confirmed, checked against its own pages, how the GTA 6 dares are written, and what changes on launch day.
- Each of the eight challenge categories explains how to play its dares, what separates a Tourist dare from a Menace one, what to avoid, and where the dares work best.
- The blog index gives each post a one-line summary and its date, and every post says when it was published and who wrote it.
- A contact page, linked from every page.
- The privacy and cookie pages list the ticks the launch-day checklist saves in your browser.
- The privacy and cookie pages no longer say that advertising pays for the site or that you can agree to advertising cookies; no advertisement is shown while Google reviews the site, and there is nothing to agree to yet.
- The About page no longer says the site collects nothing about you, and the About page and the terms say plainly which parts of the site report news about GTA 6.
- The empty advertising boxes beside and below the dial are gone, in every language. Nothing is drawn where an advertisement would go until one exists.
- The result card’s buttons work from the keyboard again.
- This page is new.
- Challenge, blog and daily pages link to each other in their text, where one raises a question another answers.
- Every dare on a category page links to that dare’s own page.
- A language picker, and the home, About and GTA 6 pages in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.
- A blog, starting with twenty posts: GTA 5 challenge runs and rulesets, dares for friends and streams, roleplay characters, and what is confirmed about GTA 6.
- A page for each of the eight challenge categories, and one for each of the 400 dares.
- A daily archive, so past days’ dares can still be found.
- The GTA 6 challenge generator page.
- The home page explains how the generator works, and answers the common questions.
- The legal pages were rewritten to one standard, and every page says the dares are for the game only.
- The dare card no longer pushes its buttons off the screen on phones, and the Daily Vice badge follows UTC, so everyone sees the same day.
- Google’s advertising script began loading so the site could be reviewed for advertising, and the privacy and cookie pages said so the same day.
- The page scrolls on a phone instead of overlapping itself.
- The site opened: a dial of 400 dares, 200 for GTA 5 and 200 for GTA 6, a daily dare that is the same for everyone, cards you can share, and a countdown to GTA 6, with About, Privacy, Cookies and Terms pages.
