Rockstar's pre-order press release of 24 June 2026 gives the price: $79.99, or $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. GTA 6 slipping twice before settling on a date isn't unusual for this studio. GTA 5 moved once, from a spring 2013 window to that September. The setting is Vice City, in the fictional US state of Leonida, with Jason and Lucia as the two protagonists. Rockstar's own site names six places to explore inside Leonida: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Outlets covering the gameplay reveal have reported side activities from basketball, boxing, fishing and hunting to jet skiing, scuba diving, dirt biking, racing and armed robberies. Rockstar's site, checked on 24 September 2026, has no list of activities but names hunting, fishing and dirt bikes and shows jet skis and scuba divers in its screenshots; the rest are expected, not confirmed.
