GTA 6 side activities, turned into challenges

24 activities from coverage of the GTA 6 previews. Rockstar's own site gives no list of activities, though it names hunting, fishing and dirt bikes and shows several others in its screenshots. Each one below gets a named challenge and a difficulty tier (Tourist, Local or Menace), plus one clearly-marked bonus challenge built around a mechanic every mainline GTA game has had, so when GTA 6 lands on 19 November 2026 you have something to try with whatever the game turns out to have. How this list is sourced
The activities come from outlets that covered the gameplay reveal, including GamesRadar's 28 August 2026 activity roundup and GTABase's feature tracking. They are the outlets' reports, not Rockstar's word: checked on 24 September 2026, Rockstar's own GTA VI site gives no list of activities. Its Only in Leonida page says Mount Kalaga "offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails", tells you to "jump on a dirt bike" in Port Gellhorn, and shows jet skis, kayaking, scuba divers, an airboat, mini golf, a gym and a club with dancers around a pole in its screenshots; everything else on this page is the outlets' report. Nothing on this page is confirmed until Rockstar's site says so, and nothing here comes from a leak.

Hunting and the outdoors
Hunting is in the coverage, and Rockstar's own site says Mount Kalaga "offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails", so the national park is the likeliest place to try it. This page frames hunting as a dare, not a guide to in-game systems — for the mechanics themselves once they're known, GTABase and Fandom's wikis will be the ones tracking every detail; we're not trying to compete with that.
What we deliberately left out
Tennis is left out: nothing on Rockstar's site says it is playable, and it doesn't appear anywhere on this page. Anything requiring online or multiplayer is not confirmed at launch, so nothing above depends on it. Casinos and property or business empires are unconfirmed one way or the other, and Rockstar's site shows a seaplane over the Keys without saying you can fly it — no challenge here assumes any of them exist, because assuming would mean guessing, and this page's whole point is not guessing.

What side activities has Rockstar confirmed for GTA 6?
None as a list. Rockstar's own GTA VI site, checked on 24 September 2026, names hunting, fishing and dirt bikes and shows jet skis, kayaking, scuba diving, an airboat and mini golf in its screenshots; all 24 on this page come from outlets' coverage of the gameplay reveal.
Is there fishing and hunting in GTA 6?
Rockstar's own site names both: it says Mount Kalaga "offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails", and one of its screenshots shows Jason holding a fishing rod on a boat. It does not say how either works.
Is tennis playable in GTA 6?
Rockstar's own site doesn't say, and tennis is left off every list on this page.
Can you play basketball in GTA 6?
Rockstar's own site shows a basketball court in one Vice City screenshot but says nothing about playing. Basketball is in coverage of the previews, so it is here as expected, not confirmed.
When can I actually do these?
From 19 November 2026, when GTA 6 releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and only the ones the game turns out to have. Until then, every challenge on this page is aspirational — the GTA 5 dial on this site is playable right now if you want something to spin today.
